Our Australian Detention, Transferee and Corrections experience encompasses:
- Secure Journeys was selected to operate Australia’s Onshore Immigration Detention Network on behalf of the Australian Government. The awarding of this initial five-year contract, commenced in November 2024, and manages seven Immigration Detention Centres and numerous Alternative Places of Detention. Secure Journeys’ strong focus is to continue service delivery excellence, while building client and Detainee trust.
- The MTC Nauru Facilities, Garrison, Transferee Arrivals and Reception Services Contract is an Australian government agreement with MTC Australia to provide services for Transferees in Nauru. The initial three-year contract was awarded in late 2022 and was extended by two years, to 30 September 2027.
- Management & Training Corporation Pty Ltd began operating Parklea Correctional Centre on behalf of Corrective Services NSW in 2019. Under the contract, MTC Australia delivers a full range of operational services, including rehabilitation programs.

MTC provides safe and secure detention, rehabilitation and transition services to more than 42,000 inmates, transferees and detainees.
This includes providing rehabilitative programs to give them the opportunity to improve and further develop the literacy, numeracy, technical and life skills required to find and keep jobs.
